Breeding and Foaling season - 2010

What a terrific foaling season we have had at Osborne Farm this spring! 

 With 18 healthy Minnesota-bred foals delivered in 2010, we were steadily on foal watch. It does feel good to be able to get a full nights sleep now that all the new arrivals are here!  We are already taking foaling stall reservations for next spring - please contact us early for availability.

It has also been a very productive breeding season this year with 23 mares confirmed in foal to date, with just a couple of pregnancy checks left before we close the breeding shed for the year.  Thank you to all the mare owners that brought mares to be bred to Late Edition and Stormy Business this season and we look forward to seeing all the resulting foals next spring. We would also like to thank Dave and Debbie Astar, Astar Thoroughbreds LLC, for the privilege of standing Stormy Business this year at Osborne Farm.  He has adjusted very well to his new home and has been a terrific horse to work with. We are certainly looking forward to seeing his first crop of runners hit the track in the spring of 2011!
